Installation Auto-Updates

Small explanation on how to install the extension the correct way, so you won't need to update it everytime.

Windows

Windows installation for Auto-Update (takes 2 Minutes). You can find a Video tutorial in our Discord here

Download the Extension [Click here to Download]
After downloading, open the folder and double click GoatifyExtension-policy the file to unzip it
Execute the file and hit continue
Accept the Pop-Up and click "yes"
Accept the second Pop-Up with "ok"
Open Chrome and put chrome://policy in the search bar, let the site load and click reload policy
Open Chrome and search chrome://extensions in the URL bar
Make sure developer mode is active (top right corner)
Now open the downloaded folder GoatifyExtension-Installer and drag and drop the file called GoatifyExtension.crxinto your Chrome site.

If nothing happens when you try to drag&drop the .crx file into chrome:

Create a new Folder on your Desktop, put both files into the new Folder and try to drag&drop into chrome out of the new Folder again.

Open your System Settings
Search for "Profiles" and select it
Now click on the "+"
Now a Pop-Up opens
Search the GoatifyExtension-Installer folder and select the file GoatifyExtension-policy
After selecting the correct file, click open
Click on "continue" and press "install" on the next step
Open Chrome and put chrome://policy in the search bar, let the site load and click reload policy
Now open the downloaded folder GoatifyExtension-Installer and drag and drop the file called GoatifyExtension.crx into your Chrome site.
Make sure developer mode is active (top right corner)
Open Chrome and search chrome://extensions in the URL bar

It should now update itself automatically. If it does not just update your Extension, all you have to do is click "refresh" in chrome://extensions
